AUSTIN, TEXAS – February 23, 2015 – Kinnser Software, Inc., a national software leader in clinical and business solutions for home health and hospice, today announced its successful completion of SSAE 16 (SOC1), an independently-audited mark of quality that is becoming increasingly important in service agreements with enterprise-class post-acute care businesses.
SSAE 16 is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. To achieve it, an independent service auditor performs a detailed audit of the requesting company, examining its controls and processes involved in storing, handling, and transmitting data securely. Kinnser’s successful and voluntary completion of SSAE 16 demonstrates its ongoing commitment to create and maintain the most stringent controls for the protection and security of its customers' confidential information.
