Kinnser Ranks as the 135th Fastest Growing Company According to Deloitte’s 2013 Technology Fast 500™

Kinnser is ranked #135 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing companies in North America. Kinnser grew 973% from 2008 through 2012.

Company founder attributes success to a focus on customer service and products designed to address the real-world needs of post-acute healthcare

AUSTIN, TEXAS November 13, 2013 — One week before its tenth anniversary celebration, Kinnser Software, Inc., a national leader in clinical and business solutions for home health and hospice, today announced its rank as number 135 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. Kinnser grew 973% from 2008 through 2012.

Kinnser President and Founder Chris Hester credits his talented, hard-working team who are committed to customer service and the delivery of solutions that make home health agencies more efficient, productive and profitable. “Every day I am grateful to lead a team that is investing in an industry that is creating thousands of jobs and viable economic solutions for health care,” says Hester who was one of the first IT architects of web-based software for the home health industry.

Launched in 2003, Kinnser Software is now the national leader in software for home care. Its solutions are used every day by more than 100,000 clinicians, nurses and therapists at over 1,600 home health agencies, therapy companies and hospices caring for over 163,000 patients nationwide. The Deloitte award is one of many honors recognizing Hester’s leadership and the Kinnser Software team. Technology Fast 500, conducted by Deloitte LLP, provides a ranking of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies – both public and private - in North America. Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth from 2008 to 2012.

In order to be eligible for Technology Fast 500 recognition, companies must own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company's operating revenues. Companies must have base-year operating revenues of at least $50,000 USD or CD, and current-year operating revenues of at least $5 million USD or CD. Additionally, companies must be in business for a minimum of five years, and be headquartered within North America.
