Kinnser was founded in 2003 by a young software developer who had an ambitious vision — to improve home healthcare. He set up an office inside a home health agency and created software that was as easy to use as it was powerful.
It’s the most widely used software in home health today.
Kinnser has grown, but has never stopped innovating. Today, 20% of our annual revenue is reinvested into research and development. Over the years, we’ve introduced breakthrough solutions not only for home health, but for private duty, therapy and hospice as well. Plus we’ve developed powerful supporting products, like business intelligence, visit verification, direct secure messaging and many others, that help agencies do more.
Our customers have the most important jobs imaginable – providing amazing care to those who need it most. Here at Kinnser, we believe that the only measure of our success as a company is the success of our customers. Our mission is to be the technology partner – and the platform – that helps home health, private duty, therapy and hospice agencies become more efficient, profitable and sustainable businesses. That’s the point of everything we do.
Kinnser is proud of the awards and recognition we’ve received, especially to be listed as one of the best places to work in our hometown of Austin, Texas
Charitable giving is part of our value system here at Kinnser. We see ourselves as a vital part of multiple communities – our city, our nation, and the healthcare industry. And we have eagerly supported programs that help meet the needs of all these communities.
This $1,000,000 fund provides full scholarships to hundreds of nursing students at Austin Community College. Established in 2011 to address the nursing shortage, the program continues through 2027.
Kinnser was founded by a veteran of the US Army. We are pleased to support the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust, a national organization that meets the specific needs of veterans.
Kinnser supports the Austin Children’s Shelter, a safe haven for children, young adults and families in crisis. Through long-term and transitional services, the Austin Children’s Shelter has a positive effect on young lives.
Emergency food assistance is a critical need in most urban centers, and our home of Austin is no exception. Kinnser supports the Central Texas Food Bank, which distributes food and grocery products to families in need.
